Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Retrieve products from shelves based on customer orders and prepare them for shipment using packing materials.
- Verify Accuracy: Double-check all items against packing slips to ensure 100% order accuracy and quality control.
- Material Handling: Operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified) to move inventory efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock counts and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Keep Area Clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Load Trucks: Safely load pallets and boxes onto delivery trucks for regional and national distribution.
- Adaptability: Quickly adapt to changing priorities and workflow requirements during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or order fulfillment is a plus but not required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow complex instructions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory checks.
- Equipment Operation: Willingness to be trained on warehouse machinery and safety protocols.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
