Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Verify stock levels and ensure accurate inventory counts using handheld scanning devices.
- Packaging: Select appropriate packaging materials and methods to safely secure items for transit.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet company quality standards before shipping.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace to comply with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling sensitive merchandise.
- Reliability: Punctual and committed to working the scheduled shifts.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and follow written instructions and safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
