Job Description
Are you ready to architect the infrastructure of tomorrow?
Nexus 2026 Labs is on a mission to define the technological landscape of the next decade. We are seeking a visionary Principal AI Architect to spearhead our 'Horizon 2026' initiative—a groundbreaking project focused on autonomous systems and generative AI evolution.
In this pivotal role, you won't just maintain existing systems; you will build the foundational architecture for the future. You will bridge the gap between theoretical AI research and scalable, production-grade engineering, ensuring our solutions are robust, ethical, and ready for the demands of the year 2026 and beyond.
Join a elite team of engineers, data scientists, and futurists working at the bleeding edge of technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic AI Development: Define the technical vision and architecture for our flagship 2026 projects, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), computer vision, and predictive analytics.
- Architect Scalable Infrastructure: Design and implement distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data flows with sub-millisecond latency.
- Research & Innovation: Conduct cutting-edge research to integrate emerging AI paradigms into our core product suite, staying ahead of industry trends.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technical debt and architectural risks, implementing robust security and compliance measures (GDPR, AI Safety).
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with at least 5 years specifically focused on AI/ML systems.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, C++, or Rust; experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and MLOps tools (Kubernetes, Docker, MLflow).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performance engineering teams through complex, large-scale deployments.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance under pressure.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
