Responsibilities
- Architect Hybrid Systems: Design and prototype quantum-classical hybrid algorithms that solve complex optimization problems beyond the reach of classical supercomputers.
- Roadmap Leadership: Define the technical roadmap for the 2026 release cycle, ensuring feasibility and scalability of new quantum modules.
- Prototyping & Validation: Lead hands-on prototyping efforts using Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum to validate theoretical models in real-world environments.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor a diverse team of quantum physicists, software engineers, and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex quantum mechanics into strategic business value for executive stakeholders and investors.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in quantum circuits and optimize gate fidelity and coherence times for maximum efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing or advanced AI.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or ProjectQ) and classical machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams through uncharted technical territory.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving high-level technical challenges and defining technical standards.
