Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical AI algorithms for 2026-scale computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum machine learning frameworks
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Pioneer error-correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Author breakthrough publications in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum-AI integration methodologies
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize quantum AI solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms with demonstrated real-world applications
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience securing federal research grants
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant architectures
