Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Develop novel error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Create machine learning models that exploit quantum properties like superposition and entanglement
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Optimize quantum circuits for specific hardware constraints using advanced compilation techniques
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum computing frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) with quantum integration
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance principles
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
