Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum neural networks
- Lead research in quantum-assisted natural language processing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum AI accelerators
- Author breakthrough publications in Nature/Science journals
- Secure federal and private quantum computing research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and decoherence
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Experience with D-Wave or IBM Quantum systems
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra and probability
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation
