Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical AI architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum neural networks with error correction protocols
- Optimize quantum machine learning algorithms for NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Lead quantum-AI integration projects with Fortune 500 partners in healthcare and finance
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum machine learning
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing or AI conferences (NeurIPS, QIP, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
