Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale applications
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit coherence
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum supremacy operations
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum supremacy milestones
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical roadmaps
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industrial implementation
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published work in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience leading technical teams through complex development cycles
- Strong background in high-performance computing systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding or patents
