Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms optimized for 2026-era hardware constraints
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in quantum-classical hybrid system integration
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant cryptography initiatives
- Architect cloud-native quantum computing platforms for enterprise clients
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum journals
- Mentor PhD candidates through our Quantum Futures Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in low-level quantum hardware interfaces (QASM, Pulse-level control)
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded projects
