Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 99.9% fidelity targets
- Lead quantum circuit design and error mitigation protocols for production environments
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications
- Develop quantum security frameworks for enterprise clients
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and conduct research on quantum advantage use cases
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-level executives and investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
