Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ and fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Collaborate with academic institutions and industry partners on quantum standards
- Translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum technologies and patent innovations
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Proven track record of leading complex R&D projects from concept to deployment
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model quantum systems mathematically
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
