Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum error correction frameworks for 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum control system specifications
- Architect secure quantum communication networks using QKD protocols
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum circuit optimization techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or error correction systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published research in quantum information theory or fault tolerance
- Proficiency in low-level quantum control hardware interfaces
- Certification in AWS Braket or Azure Quantum
- Demonstrated experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubits
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or NISQ-era systems
