Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum processors operating at 10+ qubit coherence
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead technical implementation of quantum cloud platforms with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with materials science teams to advance quantum chip fabrication processes
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of leading quantum hardware development projects
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Experience with quantum machine learning algorithms and variational circuits
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business value propositions
