Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms with error correction protocols for commercial applications
- Lead architecture development for fault-tolerant quantum processors operating at 100+ qubit scales
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography solutions
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum computing integration into existing cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior researchers and publish breakthrough findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Secure partnerships with leading quantum hardware providers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerance principles
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing architectures
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
