Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms with <1000-qubit error-corrected architectures
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum systems for cryptography and optimization
- Secure $5M+ in government/private quantum research grants
- Author white papers on quantum supremacy milestones
- Partner with NASA, IBM, and MIT on quantum-cloud integrations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years building quantum circuits with error correction
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum machine learning
- Top-quartile performance in quantum programming competitions
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects
