Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit stability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers to prototype quantum solutions
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Present breakthrough research at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with NASA and IBM on quantum-aided space exploration projects
- Drive patent development for proprietary quantum error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature or Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum decoherence mitigation
- Track record of leading $10M+ R&D projects with measurable quantum advantage
- Security clearance for DoD quantum initiatives preferred
