Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 commercial applications
- Develop proprietary quantum error correction algorithms achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence
- Create quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and materials science
- Drive IP strategy and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers through our Q-Labs accelerator program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum software systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to executive stakeholders
