Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve practical computational advantage
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Create blueprints for hybrid quantum-classical computing systems
- Conduct feasibility studies for quantum algorithms in cryptography and optimization
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum system architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts into working prototypes
