Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic systems) into production frameworks
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit design and cryogenic system integration
- Create quantum software development kits (SDKs) for industry adoption
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, trapped ion, or photonic)
- Strong background in complex algorithm optimization and parallel computing
