Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with >1,000 qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications
- Translate quantum advantages into industry-specific solutions (finance, pharma, logistics)
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy applications
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts to practical implementations
