Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead architecture of hybrid quantum-classical computing systems for enterprise clients
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for 2026-era hardware
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards and national initiatives
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and implementation strategies
- Author white papers on quantum advantage in logistics, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Drive intellectual property development with 5+ patentable innovations annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architecture design
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum conferences
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 hardware roadmap
- Security clearance eligibility for government quantum projects
- Experience leading technical teams through agile development cycles
- Strong background in computational complexity theory
