Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 10,000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop novel quantum error correction algorithms for fault-tolerant computing
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization and validation
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Secure $5M+ in quantum research grants through NIH/NSF proposals
- Pioneer quantum-safe encryption protocols for post-quantum security
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum hardware or quantum software systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing breakthroughs
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and quantum control electronics
- Track record of securing quantum research funding
