Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop novel quantum algorithms solving complex optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical quantum models into deployable systems
- Establish quantum security frameworks for blockchain and encryption applications
- Collaborate with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and drive technical excellence across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant system design
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Experience securing $1M+ in quantum computing research grants
