Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to maintain quantum coherence in practical systems
- Collaborate with physicists to translate quantum algorithms into executable code
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of quantum circuits
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Document architectural blueprints and maintain system security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or architecture development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related scientific journals
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and computational complexity
