Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing infrastructures
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure patents and publish research in top-tier journals
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip designs
- Define roadmaps for quantum advantage implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years designing quantum algorithms or error-correction systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information science
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of leading technical projects from concept to deployment
