Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum error correction strategies for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, topological, etc.)
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable business solutions
- Author technical white papers and patents for quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum systems design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing research journals
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ) and cloud quantum platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Ability to communicate quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
