Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for commercial-scale quantum processors
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen communication networks
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic quantum computing, quantum annealing)
- Author technical whitepapers and patent disclosures for quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing architecture experience
- Proven track record in developing quantum algorithms with demonstrated performance benchmarks
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, color codes)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (coherence times, gate fidelities)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and quantum control electronics
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in cryptography and post-quantum security protocols
