Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error correction protocols for 2026-era hardware
- Lead prototyping of hybrid quantum-classical architectures using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations at 10-mK temperatures
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for enterprise clients
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging topological qubit technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC) and fault-tolerant designs
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, PyTorch Quantum)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum control systems and microwave engineering
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Track record of translating theoretical models to practical implementations
