Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Develop error-correction frameworks for million-qubit systems
- Translate theoretical quantum algorithms into deployable hardware solutions
- Establish industry standards for quantum-cloud integration
- Secure $10M+ in quantum research grants
- Mentor next-generation quantum engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation and control
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum sensing
- Track record of leading quantum hardware projects from concept to deployment
