Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for 2026 security standards
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams on error correction and qubit stabilization
- Lead open-source quantum computing initiatives in Python/C++
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum machine learning applications
- Present research findings at premier quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
