Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy quantum-safe hybrid cloud infrastructure supporting 10,000+ qubit operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols for 2026-era systems
- Design quantum-classical integration frameworks for real-time industrial applications
- Establish security protocols for quantum networks resistant to future cryptographic threats
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum operating systems and SDKs
- Partner with academic institutions to validate quantum algorithms in production environments
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum hardware-software co-design principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum hardware/software integration or HPC infrastructure
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant system design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum roadmap
- Experience with cloud quantum services (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Track record of publishing in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in distributed systems and low-latency network architectures
