Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using proprietary quantum hardware
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Develop patentable intellectual property in quantum error correction techniques
- Partner with industry leaders to prototype commercial quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven experience with quantum algorithm development and simulation
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Proficiency in high-performance computing frameworks (HPC, MPI)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
