Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical quantum models into practical applications
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-processor architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into working prototypes
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
