Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical commercial applications
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems with >1000 qubits
- Partner with MIT/Caltech researchers on hybrid quantum-classical frameworks
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for 2026 infrastructure
- Manage $10M+ R&D budget for quantum hardware prototyping
- Present breakthrough findings at Davos and IEEE Quantum Summits
- Drive quantum education initiatives for Fortune 500 CTOs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with published Nature papers
- 5+ years quantum algorithm development at IBM/Google/Quantinuum
- Expertise in superconducting qubits and topological quantum computing
- Track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction thresholds
- Security clearance preferred (DOD/NASA projects)
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (Braket, Qiskit)
