Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead a 10-person research team in developing next-generation quantum processors
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum error correction methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature Physics and Science
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for financial systems
- Present findings at global tech summits including Web Summit and TechCrunch Disrupt
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Published research in top-tier physics/computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing government research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
