Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum hardware-software integration solutions
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and partnerships with institutions like MIT and CERN
- Develop patentable quantum encryption protocols for 2026 cybersecurity standards
- Present findings at premier conferences (Q2C, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize quantum machine learning models
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or quantum hardware
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Track record of securing federal research grants (NSF, DoE, DARPA)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Experience leading teams of 10+ technical researchers
