Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm research for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum cryptography development
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through NSF/DARPA proposals
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Partner with AWS/Google Quantum AI teams on benchmarking initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Track record of securing government research grants
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
