Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm development and optimization
- Secure $2M+ in government/private research grants
- Publish top-tier research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop patentable quantum cryptography solutions
- Collaborate with NASA/IBM on quantum-ML integration projects
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish lab protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum research with peer-reviewed publications
- Proficiency in Qiskit/Cirq and quantum assembly languages
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DoE)
- Expertise in quantum annealing and superconducting qubits
- Proven track record of technology commercialization
- Strong background in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
