Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization applications
- Design scalable quantum hardware architectures targeting 2026 commercialization
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $10M+ in government and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum information science
- Drive patent development for quantum-resistant encryption methods
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published author in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong track record of securing federal research grants
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
