Responsibilities
- Develop quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Design error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams on quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $1M+ in DARPA/NSF grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Prototype quantum hardware-software integration solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or cryptography
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level assembly
- Clearance eligibility for government contracts
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Track record of securing research funding
