Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims
- Collaborate with hardware teams to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DARPA grant funding
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Q2B conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing libraries
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems (Dilution refrigerators)
- Track record of securing government research grants
