Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction techniques for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise solutions
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- mentor junior researchers and cross-functional innovation teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming with Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and quantum tomography
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing frameworks (HPC, MPI)
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
