Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on our 1000+ qubit processors
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals with quarterly targets
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with defense contractors on quantum-resistant cryptography
- Drive quantum cloud platform architecture for enterprise clients
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NASA grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science from top 10 university
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience (IBM/Google preferred)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq frameworks with 50+ GitHub contributions
- Clearance for government projects (or ability to obtain)
- Fluency in Python/C++ with parallel computing mastery
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems (4K mK environments)
