Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit coherence and fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate and validate quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communication systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Stay current with emerging quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Quantum Information Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum machine learning
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#, or Quil)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Experience with quantum simulation tools (QASM, Quil, or OpenQASM)
