Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes using cryogenic systems and photonic processors
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop error-correction frameworks to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory through our academic partnership program
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NIST grants for quantum supremacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design using Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Proficiency with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in error correction codes (surface, topological)
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters (HPC) for quantum simulations
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into functional prototypes
