Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate on quantum hardware prototyping with superconducting and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate quantum research into commercial IP portfolios
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Secure patents for quantum communication and cryptography innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (e.g., Quantum Information & Computation)
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic processors
- Demonstrated ability to secure government grants (NSF/DOE)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and assembly-level quantum control languages
