Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Collaborate with Intel, IBM, and NASA on quantum projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Proficiency with superconducting and trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience securing DOE or NSF research funding
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
