Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams to commercialize quantum applications in finance and logistics
- Publish research in Nature Physics/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Mentor PhD interns and drive open-source quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or variational algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Track record of securing government or industry research grants
- Fluency in quantum machine learning techniques
