Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical computing models
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing symposiums
- Drive cross-functional projects with AI and materials science teams to accelerate quantum advantage
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with next-gen quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum simulation tools (QASM, Quil) and cloud quantum platforms
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks with quantum integration experience
